This Spring/Summer collection has been a long time in the works.
I’ve been developing this since the Fall/Winter season, while also juggling being a full-time student. Some of these designs go back almost two years—they’ve been drawn, redrawn, adjusted, and refined more times than I can count. This collection isn’t just about clothes—it’s about patience, growth, and staying locked in through every version until it felt right.
The hats were probably the most frustrating part. I was stuck for months trying to find the right camo. Not all camo hits the same, and I wasn’t going to settle. I needed something that felt authentic and looked tough but still wearable. After endless samples and back-and-forth, I finally landed on something that felt true to the vision.
One of the most exciting steps with this drop was getting into denim. I’ve never done denim before, but I wanted to do it right. I found the best quality I could and built pieces that feel both clean and rugged. But the denim isn’t just about the fit—it’s a tribute.
This collection is inspired by my dad, Victor Nateras the First. When I was younger, I used to get embarrassed when he’d pick me up from school wearing long denim shorts and cut-off tees. But now, I get it. That was his style, his confidence, and his way of being unapologetically himself. What used to make me cringe now inspires my design. My dad is the reason I do this. His influence is designed into every piece.
There’s more on the way—more pieces, more stories, more moments that I can’t wait to share. I’m hyped for what’s to come and thrilled to see where VNAT can go next. Whether it’s local or across the world, the vision is just getting started.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
